New GM at Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East and Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East

Hong Kong - October 9, 2013 - Carlos Souza has been appointed as General Manager of Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East and Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Kowloon East, Hong Kong's first twin-brand hotel project.

Having joined the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in 2001, he most recently was the General Manager of InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort in Hangzhou.

Carlos has over 30 years of hotel management experience across Australia, Bangkok, Hong Kong and China for luxury brands including The Peninsula Hotels in Hong Kong and Bangkok, as well as the former Regent Hotel in Hong Kong.

He spent a decade as Senior Director of Sales at IHG flagship hotel, InterContinental Hong Kong before becoming Director of Front Office in 2009. He is a dynamic veteran with wealthful experience both in sales & marketing and operations. He was the Resident Manager in Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre.
