A native Mainer, Emily was born in the Downeast area of Maine and moved to a small rural town in the Catskills in upstate New York as a child, but found her way back home through her lengthy career at the Kennebunkport Resort Collection.
"Emily Nelson's appointment as General Manager of the Kennebunkport Resort Collection begins an exciting new chapter for our collection of properties," said Nicholas Farina, Vice President of Operations of EOS Hospitality. "Her immense growth over the past ten years, holding various positions in Reservations, Rooms Operations, Food and Beverage, becoming General Manager of two of the properties, and now advancing to General Manager of the entire portfolio of hotels and restaurants, is a testament to her loyalty and commitment to the brand. We look forward to her invaluable contributions as we continue to elevate our standards in hospitality."
As General Manager, Emily hopes to build on the collection's success and ability to create one-of-a-kind guest experiences alongside the rest of the fantastic team at KRC. In particular, Emily sees an opportunity to build upon the fitness and wellness amenities and provide guests with more unique experiences throughout the year.
