Boutique Hotel Investment Conference 2024: A Resounding Success
The Boutique Lifestyle Lodging Association (BLLA) is proud to announce the resounding success of the Boutique Hotel Investment Conference held on June 5, 2024, at The Florence Gould Hall. The event brought together visionaries, investors, and leaders from the boutique hospitality industry, marking a pivotal moment for innovation and collaboration in the sector.
This year's conference kicked off with a lively Welcome Opening presentation by BLLA's Partner and COO, Ariela Kiradjian. She started with a brief overview of the popularity and investment climate of the boutique hotel investment community. Ariela also announced two exciting new partnerships, including the launch of the association's first BLLA Luxury Academy in collaboration with Équité and collaboration with Hotels ByDesign (HBD) where she will also be a presenter in the show. The video introduction of this program included an interview with Ariela alongside Mike Chapman (who was also present on stage at the conference with Ariela), Co-Founder and Executive Producer of the program, which is shown primetime on commercial television via CBS and streaming elsewhere. The first three HBD projects for season 3 were also announced, including BLLA Members 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, located in Hawaii on the Verdant Cliffs of Kaua'i's North Shore, Amangiri - a secluded resort in Canyon Point, Utah, and Hemlock Neversink in The Catskills, New York.
This year's event featured many well-known distinguished speakers, including a keynote interview with Alan Fuerstman, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Montage International, and his son Michael Fuerstman, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Pendry Hotels. Their insights on running a family hospitality business, leadership, luxury, and boutique hotel investment captivated the audience, setting the tone for a day of inspiring dialogue and forward-thinking discussions. Their talk also underscored the evolving landscape of boutique hotels and the significance of innovation in maintaining a competitive edge.
