Tampa’s Epicurean Hotel Taps Whitnee Wilson as New Spa Director
Epicurean Hotel recently announced the addition of Whitnee Wilson as Spa Director at Spa Evangeline located in the 188-room boutique hotel in the trendy Hyde Park historic district of South Tampa. As director, Wilson will oversee day-to-day spa operations, including the treatment menu and special promotions, staff management and training, spa product lines and retail.
"Spa Evangeline is a special sanctuary that enhances Epicurean's culinary mission through a variety of carefully selected treatments and products," said Shawn Routten, General Manager of Epicurean Hotel. "We believe Whitnee's leadership and strong experience with hotel spas will further enhance Spa Evangeline's offerings for guests and locals alike."
Prior to joining Spa Evangeline, Wilson worked at the ZaSpa at Hotel ZaZa in the museum district of Houston, Texas, where she was lead esthetician and massage therapist trainer. Her career also includes time as Spa Operations Manager for Grand Galvez in Galveston, Texas. Wilson, a native of Galveston, holds a hospitality and spa management degree from Galveston College.
