JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa Appoints Sibylle Jenny as New Director of Sales and Marketing
JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Sibylle Jenny to director of sales and marketing at the 453-room landmark resort in affluent Paradise Valley, Ariz. Spearheading the sales and marketing efforts for the luxury resort, Jenny will provide strategic leadership and direction for the sales team to drive revenue and implement business goals to continue building upon the success of the award-winning property. She also will focus on VIP relations and managing relationships with group and leisure clients along with industry partners.
Prior to joining the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa team, Jenny held the position of director of sales for the Southwest Region at Marriott International's Multi-Hotel Sales Organization where she oversaw 95 hotels and 17 brands, including both full-service and Marriott select hotels. She also served as the director of sales for Marriott International's Arizona Resorts Collection with annual production of more than $70 million per year. Throughout her 17-year career, Jenny led sales teams for the Sheraton brand in Toronto and Phoenix including Sheraton Phoenix Downtown - Arizona's largest hotel - demonstrating her ability to drive hotel and team success. In 2019, Jenny was named Sales Leader of the Year for the Southwest by Marriott International. She earned her degree in International Hospitality Management from Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland.
Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, Jenny is a lover of nature and celebrates an active lifestyle, fitting naturally with the luxury resort that is sprawled across 125 acres of the Sonoran Desert and situated at the base of Mummy Mountain. With a passion for travel and outdoor adventure, Jenny aims to develop and implement new sales and marketing strategies, programs, activations, and partnerships that will increase revenue and elevate the property's position in Paradise Valley and new markets around the world. Jenny resides in Cave Creek, Ariz. with her husband.
