RIO DE JANEIRO - June 3, 2014 - Radisson®, one of the world's best-recognized hotel brands, announced the opening of Radisson Hotel Barra, Rio de Janeiro. The hotel is located on the seven mile Barra da Tijuca beach in the Barra region of Rio de Janeiro.

The hotel offers 196 ample guestrooms and 96 suites with balconies and most feature ocean views. On site dining is available at Dom Rosso which serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the pool bar, Palmeiras which offers a variety of food and beverage options. A bar located in the hotel's lobby provides an additional option for beverages.

Villa Spa is the hotel's spa providing an array of treatments and therapies. The spa offers dry and steam saunas, locker rooms, hot tubs and bungalows that ensure comfort and privacy. A fully equipped fitness center and squash court is also available to guests on site.
