Two Bunch Palms Spa Resort in Desert Hot Springs, California Continues to Add to Management Team

Desert Hot Springs, CA - March 10, 2014 - Two Bunch Palms has established its four pillars by delivering its healing waters, award winning spa services, healthier cuisine and movement programs in a spacious, lush park-like setting. Working together, the Spa Director and Wellness Service Coordinator deliver three legs of the guest experience with our Executive Chef creating the final leg - a healthy dining experience.

Beverly Sosa joins the team as the Spa Director overseeing the spa, retail and programming. Beverly was the Manager at the Spa at La Costa, a $5 Million dollar operation with 42 treatment rooms, salon, cafe with almost one hundred union staff. She trained with industry award winning veteran Rianna Riego and brings a strong background in guest service, back of the house operations, financials and union labor management.

Suzanne Barber our Wellness Services Coordinator is the resort's resident wellness nutritionist with a certification in Holistic Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. She is in charge of programming and teaches yoga, dance, art expression, and journaling on property. A seasoned national educator and retreat facilitator, she is a Yoga Fit ™ instructor certified in exercise prescription, aromatherapy and massage. Suzanne is an accomplished artist and writer with her own line of original art greeting cards who received her Arts & Sciences Degree from Brookhaven in Dallas.

Tom Hogan is the new Executive Chef with expertise in California fusion, Pacific Rim, raw vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Hogan apprenticed under renowned chefs such as Tony De Lombo, Roxanne Klienn, Ann Cooper, Mary Micucci, Elka Gilmore and Kerry Heffemean. Tom continued to hone his skills at various well-known establishments including renowned Roxannes' Raw Vegan, Beverly Hills Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe and various Hollywood, San Francisco and Manhattan restaurants. Locally, Chef Tom worked at Pacifica Seafood and Tropicale restaurants. He was also the developmental Executive Chef for the annual Bhakti Yoga Fest that attracts 10,000 annual attendees.

Sunita Persaud is the new Human Resource Director with more than 20 years of Human Resources, Operations and Payroll experience in various healthcare and non-profit companies in the Coachella Valley including the YMCA, Oasis Rehabilitation Center, and Spa Hotel & Casino. Persaud received her Business Administration degree from UC Riverside majoring in Accounting and her Masters in Human Resources from Chapman University. She has her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.

Ilia Torres is the new Facilities Director in charge of Maintenance and Housekeeping. She brings a wealth of housekeeping and facilities experience from major resorts including 440 room Riviera, Viceroy, Marriott, Hyatt and world famous golf destination resort - Pebble Beach.

Katie Camarena returns to Two Bunch Palms as the Event & Marketing Coordinator. Katie, a native of the Coachella Valley, worked at several of the local resorts such as JW Marriott, La Quinta Resort, Renaissance Esmeralda and Two Bunch Palms in various departments including Revenue Management, Spa, Front Desk, Reservations, PBX & F&B. She was also secretary for the DHS Hoteliers Association for 4 years and helped organized the first three annual DHS Spa Tours.
