Anthony Darroman Appointed as Director of F&B at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta in Georgia

ATLANTA, GA - February 27, 2014 - Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta, the luxury hotel located in Buckhead, has announced the appointment of Anthony Darroman as Director of Food & Beverage.

With almost two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Darroman joins Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta from Mandarin Oriental, Sanya, located on the tropical Hainan island in China, where he held the position of Director of Food & Beverage since 2011.

Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Mr. Darroman served as the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage from 2006 until 2011 in Beijing and Tokyo with the Peninsula Hotel Group.

Born and raised in Passec, France, Mr. Darroman studied at the Institut Vatel in Nimes, France, where he earned a hospitality degree in 2000. He held internships in France, management positions in Thailand and Tahiti, and worked in Asia for the past thirteen years. His role at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta is his first Director of Food & Beverage position in the United States.
