Paradise Island Harbour Resort Announces New DoSM
PARADISE ISLAND - February 5, 2014 - Ilyse Prokocimer-Karwoski has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at Paradise Island Habour Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The position marks Prokocimer-Karwoski's return to the resort, having previously served for five years as Regional Director of Sales.
Prokocimer-Karwoski brings more than 35 years of experience to the position. Most recently, she was Director of Sales and Marketing at Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago, West Indies. She has also worked as Regional Director of Sales for Driftwood Hospitality Management and Vice President-Caribbean of Gate 1 Travel, a U.S. Tour Operator. She held the position of President and CEO/COO for Prokocimer Int'l Enterprises, d/b/a Nassau/Paradise Island Express, a “Bahamas Only” Tour Operator, for which she was awarded the “Cacique Award” by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism for Best Tour Operator.
“There are many exciting changes coming to Paradise Island Harbour Resort, including a complete hotel renovation this summer,” said Cameron Burnet, the resort's Managing Director. “Ilyse's extensive knowledge and proven experience in the Caribbean hospitality industry will greatly contribute to the resort's success leading up to and following its renovation.”
The 246 room and suites All-Inclusive resort will close in early July 2014 for renovations. Now through closing, kids aged 4 to 11 years old will eat and sleep FREE.
