Afsi Bird Appointed GM for the 109-key Hotel Teatro in Denver, Colorado

Denver - January 20, 2013 - Hotel Teatro, Denver's luxury boutique hotel, announces the appointment of Afsi Bird as general manager. With an extensive background in luxury hotel management and hospitality, Bird previously served as general manager of Denver's Oxford Hotel. In her new position, Bird will lead the Hotel Teatro team in managing revenue generation, customer satisfaction and overall operations.

In addition to her role at The Oxford Hotel, Bird has also served as general manager of Hotel Terra Jackson Hole; and director of rooms at the Four Seasons Resort San Diego Aviara, the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara and the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Prior to that, she held several management positions over a nine-year career at the Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach.

Bird is a graduate of Höhere Handelsschule in Aachen, Germany, and is fluent in both German and Farsi.
