Renaissance World Golf Village Resort In NE Florida Names Natalie McBride Destination Services Manager

December 20, 2013 - Natalie McBride has been promoted to Destination Services Manager at The Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center in Jacksonville/St. Augustine, Florida. In her new position she is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive/recognition specialists, and event planners with the coordination of their programs and events at the AAA Four-Diamond Northeast Florida resort, as well as for off-property activities and functions. Together with the adjacent World Golf Hall of Fame, The Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center is the largest combination hotel and convention center between Atlanta and Orlando, with 101,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

McBride designs and coordinates creative meetings and events for corporate and social clients. This includes orchestrating vendors and staff before, during, and after events. In addition, she manages the resort's Destination Services department staff.

Prior to her promotion McBride served as Destination Services Specialist at the resort, a position that she held for two years. Before joining the resort she served as Sales Manager for Destination Planning Corporation, where she produced and designed weddings and events for individuals, non-profit organizations, corporations and associations. Her experience also includes serving as Office Manager/Special Events Assistant at MMD Events, Inc., and as Coordinator's Assistant at Unique Event Design, LLC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida.

The honor is achieved by less than 4% of the AAA approved properties. Other honors recently bestowed on the resort include the “2013 Certificate of Excellence” from TripAdvisor.
