Beaver Creek's Westin Riverfront Names New Director of Catering & Events
Award-winning resort also hires new Executive Meetings Manager and Catering & Events Manager
December 12, 2013 - The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain is pleased to announce that it has promoted Beth Olson to the position of Director of Catering & Events. The award-winning resort has also hired Jing Butler to serve as the Executive Meetings Manager and Jessica Gillespie to serve as the Catering & Events Manager.
Olson joined The Westin Riverfront's sales team more than a year ago as the Catering & Conference Service Manager. She previously served as the Banquet Captain at the Arrabelle at Vail Square in Vail and as an Account Manager for Vail Resorts, Inc.
Butler most recently served as the Director of Sales at the Aloft Charleston Airport and Convention Center in Charleston, S.C. Other prior hospitality experience includes serving as the Director of Sales at the Comfort Suites West of the Ashley, also in Charleston, and as an Events Coordinator at The Arrabelle at Vail Square. A graduate of IHTTI School of Hotel Management Basel in Switzerland, Butler also previously worked at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa and the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort and Spa.
Gillespie most recently served at the Special Events Coordinator at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida. A graduate of Florida State University, Gillespie also holds an MBA from the University of South Florida.
