Swiss-Belhotel Hires Leading Hospitality Talent to Support Expanding Global Hotel Portfolio

HONG KONG, CHINA - November 14, 2013 - Swiss-Belhotel International has announced key senior appointments in Hong Kong and mainland China as the hospitality management company continues its strong growth trajectory throughout Asia-Pacific and around the world.

The appointments are led by Mr Gordon Coutts, who joins Swiss-Belhotel International as Group Operations Director / Operations Assistant to the President working from the company's corporate head office in Hong Kong.

In China, Mr Josef Woelfle joins as Vice President - Operations China / Group Food and Beverage Director, who will be representing the company on the mainland as Swiss-Behotel International expand their presence in the country.

Swiss-Belhotel International's portfolio currently comprises more than 120 hotels and resorts ranging from two- to five-star brand classifications across Asia and the Middle East, with three hotels opening recently in Indonesia, New Zealand and Vietnam.

Swiss-Belhotel Chairman and President, Mr Gavin M. Faull, said he was delighted with the executive additions to the team as the hospitality management firm continued to expand.

Mr Coutts, with 30 years of senior hospitality management experience in China, Australia and Thailand, will manage operations and development in New Zealand, including the company's expansion into Australia, as well as in Vietnam, Malaysia and the Middle East.

Mr Woelfle, who has extensive experience of more than 40 years in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East including working with the Kempinski Hotel in Chengdu, China will be based in Swiss-Belhotel International's office in Shanghai.

Swiss-Belhotel International was recently recognized in the list of the world's top 100 hotel groups compiled by hospitality industry publication, HOTELS Magazine.
