Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth Announces Additions to Its Executive Leadership Team

September 30, 2013 - The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth has announced three key additions to its executive leadership team: Patrick J. Dougherty as General Manager, Jeffrey G. Guillory as Director of Sales and Marketing, and Jeremy Graham as the new Executive Chef overseeing Whitebark Restaurant, Bar and Lounge and banquet operations at the resort.

Patrick J. Dougherty brings 13 years of experience with Starwood Hotels & Resorts to The Westin Monache. An executive with strong experience in accounting, operations, and sales, Dougherty has played a senior departmental or property leadership role in finance and operations of some of Starwood's premier hotels, most recently as Director of Operations at The Westin Los Angeles Airport. At the 740-room property, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations including housekeeping, security, banquets, executive chef, front office manager, and service express manager. Immediately prior, he was Director of Operations for The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa in South Carolina, where his responsibilities included all capital projects including the opening of the first Heavenly Spa by Westin in the continental United States.

A member of Starwood's Executive Committee since 2006, Dougherty places an emphasis on guest satisfaction and providing the highest level of customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Jeffrey G. Guillory is a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry. Guillory's track record includes 17 years in leadership roles driving rate and revenue growth in key markets and in both traditional direct sales and online distribution channels.

Prior to joining The Westin Monache Resort, Mammoth, Guillory played an instrumental role at other prestigious properties such as the Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles, InterContinental Miami, and W Hollywood Hotel. Most recently he was a strategic marketing and sales consultant for Russell & Russell Consulting, serving as acting Director of Sales and Marketing on the pre-opening team for Delano Marrakech, a luxury hotel in Morocco opened September 2012.

Executive Chef Jeremy Graham is a graduate of The Scottsdale Culinary Institute and is also in the process of continuing his certification for Master Sommelier. Graham has graced the kitchens of some of the most prestigious golf clubs and resorts in the Southwest and California including, most recently, North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, California where he served as the Executive Sous Chef. Graham also has prepared food at a number of events including the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France in 2005 and Taste of the Nation in Phoenix in 2007 and 2008.
