Fontainebleau Miami Beach Names Bridget Ryder VP of Information Technology

Miami Beach, FL - September 20, 2013 - Fontainebleau Miami Beach announces the appointment of Bridget Ryder to the position of Vice President of Information Technology. In this position, Ryder is responsible for establishing and maintaining information technology infrastructure and operations, as well as information security. Additionally, she is responsible for analyzing and predicting trends, proactively researching and recommending courses of action, and departmental management and decision making at the iconic 20 acre, 1,504 room oceanfront resort.

Ryder brings nearly 30 years of experience to the position, including 20 years working in both accounting and information technology at major resort properties in the Bahamas, such as Atlantis Paradise Island. In addition, Ryder served at Republic Services, a publicly traded $8 billion corporation where she was a senior direct report to the Chief Information Officer responsible for a major merger in Information Technology platform consolidation and transition to a new organization. Most recently, she worked at BTR Consulting Group in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. as Program Manager for IT Transformation and also assisted in software selection and implementation. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Fisher School of Accounting at University of Florida.
