Julia Hansen named Director of Sales & Marketing

TUCSON, AZ, August 31, 2006. Julia K. Hansen has been named Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort. In her new position at the resort, Julia will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales, marketing, catering and events departments.
Hansen brings with her a true passion for the industry with more than 16 years of experience as a director of sales & marketing, and an additional six years in direct sales positions within the industry. "With Hansen's wonderful blend of selling skills, Hilton Hotels experience and competitive spirit, I believe she is the right person at the right time and will serve our team well," stated Tim Booth, General Manager of Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Resort.
Most recently, Hansen held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at one of the El Conquistador's sister properties, the Hilton Omaha in Nebraska, a 450 room property. She was responsible for the opening of the new hotel and exceeding the first years' revenue goals.
