New Director of Catering for The Heldrich, New Brunswick, NJ
HOUSTON, TX, July 25, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has named Andrew Dale director of catering for The Heldrich, the award-winning hotel and conference center located in revitalized New Brunswick, New Jersey. Michael J. Taylor, Benchmark's general manager at the property, made the announcement.
"We welcome Andrew to The Heldrich," said Mr. Taylor. "He brings important experience from top properties in New Jersey and New York City to his new role."
Andrew Dale was previously director of private events at Avenue, the Four Star restaurant and night club located in Long Branch, New Jersey. Prior to this appointment, he served as director of catering at Franks Waterside along the Hudson River in North Bergen, New Jersey.
Mr. Dale has worked for a number of first rate New York City-based properties, including the Mandarin Oriental, where he served as senior catering sales manager; the Millennium Broadway, where he was catering sales manager; The Sky Club, serving as director of banquet operations; and the renowned '21' Club, where he held the positions of catering sales manager and banquet manager.
Dale was also previously employed as banquet manager and catering manager for Hotel InterContinental New York, and served as assistant banquet manager for the Grand Hyatt New York.
Andrew Dale earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University of Teaneck, New Jersey. He was awarded the Assistant Manager of the Quarter designation while at the Grand Hyatt and joined the Presidents Club while with the Millennium Broadway. A marathon runner, Mr. Dale resides in Metuchen, New Jersey.
