The West Paces Hotel Group Adds Historic Partridge Inn to Portfolio
AUGUSTA, GA, September 29, 2005. The West Paces Hotel Group LLC today announced the addition of The Partridge Inn to its management portfolio. Led by Horst Schulze, the past president of the prestigious The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, The West Paces Hotel Group has been awarded the management contract by the inn's new owner, Walton Way Hotel, LLC. Located in Augusta, Georgia's historic Summerville neighborhood, the hotel is a landmark property and a member of Historic Hotels of America.

The West Paces Hotel Group and the new owners, Walton Way Hotel, LLC, will usher in a new era of hospitality for this venerable, historic hotel. The renovation will enhance all guestrooms and public spaces, including the lobby and meeting rooms. Guestrooms will be reconfigured from 156 rooms to 145 to expand some of the smaller rooms. The lobby will be enlarged and distinctive new interior furnishings and finishes will also be added to the property. In addition, the hotel's signature facade will be enhanced and improvements will be made to the outstanding dining establishments. ll work, furnishings and finishes will be in keeping with the property's historic significance and architecture.
