Atlantis Paradise Island has announced the promotion of Richie Kavanagh to Vice President and General Manager of The Reef Residences. Kavanagh has been with the iconic Bahamas resort for over three years, starting as the Assistant General Manager for The Cove and The Reef Residences. In his new role, Richie will oversee various aspects of The Reef Residences' operations, providing strategic leadership and guidance for all areas of the division.
Since joining the team in November 2021, Richie has been an invaluable asset to the overall success of The Cove and Reef Residences at Atlantis Paradise Island. He has worked diligently to provide exceptional experiences for both guests and staff members. Richie has closely overseen and collaborated with various teams across the property, including food and beverage, marketing, finance, and more, to ensure the seamless execution of top-tier hospitality, group meetings, and events.

Kavanagh has nearly two decades of experience in the luxury hospitality and tourism industry, having held leadership positions at some of the most influential hotels, resorts, and casinos in Las Vegas, including The Venetian, Luxor, and MGM Grand. As he leads the team at The Reef Residences, he will focus on strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve financial performance, and maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction and team engagement.
