Most recently, she served as a Sales Leader for Marriott Multi-Hotel Sales South, leading teams of sales professionals that supported 57 hotels and resorts.
"We're excited to welcome Bertha home and have her play an integral part in the hotel's continued growth and success on the heels of expansive renovations," said Julissa Kepner, General Manager of Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. "Her results-driven approach, aptitude for driving sales, connectivity in the market, and competitive spirit will all be invaluable as we reestablish our place in the market."
Since beginning her career with Marriott in 1998, Crucet has received more than a dozen awards and nominations recognizing her achievements, including being a four-time winner of the esteemed Chairman's Circle Award, and receiving a JW Marriott Award of Excellence nomination in 2013. She recently was honored to be included in the Emerging Leader Program, distinguishing her as a high performing leader with demonstrated ability to excel and advance.
"With an updated property to unveil, we're focused on driving brand loyalty leveraging Marriott Bonvoy, communicating the updates, incorporating social events, and bringing back legacy accounts to ensure they have the opportunity to experience our new product," said Crucet. "I look forward to cultivating relationships with clients, vendors, and community leaders to reignite interest for a record-breaking year."
In her free time, Crucet enjoys spending time with her husband and teenage twin sons, exploring the local area, fishing, boating, and traveling to nearby islands. As Miami Marlins season ticketholders, they also enjoy attending baseball games.
