Denver's Curtis Hotel now offering Digital Key technology

Techno-Up at downtown Denver's 336-room pop culture hotel

. August 10, 2016

Denver's only pop culture hotel, the Curtis a DoubleTree by Hilton, is thrilled to announce that it has implemented Digital Key access for each of its 336 guest rooms, giving guests the latest in hotel technology, convenience and control.

The process is easy. Within 24 hours of arrival, Hilton HHonors members who book direct through Hilton's channels can digitally check-in, choose their exact room from a digital floorplan and request a Digital Key through the HHonors app. The Curtis will then notify guests via the app as soon as their room is ready. HHonors members with previous stay history can then head straight to their room when they arrive, pressing the virtual “unlock” button on the app when they're within five feet of their door.

The Curtis joins a growing list of Hilton Worldwide hotels that have made this high-tech transformation. By the end of 2016, Hilton intends to roll out Digital Key to all U.S. full-service hotels.

“Most of our loyal guests are incredibly tech-savvy,” said General Manager & “Starship Captain” Scott Sloan. “We're thrilled to be able to offer HHonors members this cutting edge Digital Key technology and give them an easier, more convenient stay.”

Managed by Denver's Sage Hospitality, the Curtis features 336 guest rooms, including 13 “hyper themed” suites all with custom art by Colorado artists, unique flooring and decorations. Available suites include a Star Trek suite on the “Sci-Fi” floor and a Jimmy Buffett room on the “Mad About Music” floor.

The Curtis also offers more than 28,000 total square feet of unique Denver event space, all named after favorite childhood games - including the Four Square Ballroom, a 7,000 square feet indoor/outdoor space that boasts a large retractable nano glass wall and a sizeable outdoor patio complete with a private bar and a fireplace. The hotel is home to the Oceanaire Seafood Room and The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar, a Sage Restaurant Group concept by restaurateur Peter Karpinski.
