Lausanne, February 3, 2014 - The Young Hoteliers Summit has officially launched with major partners for the 2014 Edition announced. FRHI Hotels & Resorts, encompassing the Raffles, Fairmont and Swissotel Hotels & Resorts brands, have partnered as the 5th Edition Challenge Provider, this coming 17th - 19th March.

The 5th Edition summit represents a special anniversary for the Young Hoteliers Summit. 29 international hospitality management schools & university will be present, with Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Heidelberg Hotelfachschule, Florida, Modul Vienna, and Surrey Universities joining for the first time. Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Dorchester Collection, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts were recently confirmed as Royal Partners for the event. The much anticipated annual YHS Rankings is also underway, giving a unique insight into students' perception of hospitality brands as future employers.

As Challenge Provider, FRHI Hotels & Resorts is the main partner of the summit and presents the delegates with the Creativity Challenge - a current HR issue of the brand on which the delegates collaborate to bring actionable solutions. This leads to the core objective of YHS, aligning the three major stakeholders -hospitality companies, students and educational institutions - to improve professional opportunities for young talent in hospitality.

Matt Smith, Vice President of Talent & Learning for FRHI Hotels & Resorts and Pierre Botteron, Vice President, Human Resources for FRHI Hotels & Resorts Europe Region will co-present this year's Challenge Provider Keynote on the topic of change leadership & the employment experience.

The Young Hoteliers Summit looks forward to a collaborative, innovative and stimulating anniversary gathering!
