Hilton Worldwide Appoints Mark Meaney GM Conrad Centennial Singapore

Singapore, December 12, 2013 - Hilton Worldwide has appointed Mark Meaney as General Manager of Conrad Centennial Singapore with effect December 7, 2013. Born in Ireland, Mark has held several management positions in Japan, the United States of America and Ireland in his 17-year hospitality career. Mark is a graduate from the Shannon College of Hotel Management in Ireland with First Class Honours and a Higher Diploma in International Hotel Management.

Prior to this appointment, Mark was Director of Operations since July 2011 and Director of Food and Beverage from February 2010 to June 2011 at the Conrad Tokyo renowned for its award-winning fine dining experience which features one Michelin-starred restaurant - Collage. During his tenure in Conrad Tokyo, Mark spearheaded successful initiatives leading the hotel to win Conrad Hilton Award twice, in 2011 and in 2013 for being the best hotel in the Conrad brand portfolio. Before moving to Japan, Mark was the resident manager and operations manager of the Mount Juliet Conrad in Kilkenny, Ireland.
