Hans Ritten Announced as GM of Silversmith Hotel in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL - December 5, 2013 - Remington Hotels, a full management and hospitality service company, welcomes Hans Ritten as general manager of Silversmith Hotel. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry in both branded and independent luxury hotels, Ritten will apply his knowledge to manage daily operations, improve guest satisfaction scores, implement a new food and beverage concept and oversee Silversmith Hotel's $12 million renovation.

With a proven track record of success directing luxury hotels, Ritten previously managed One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Fla., where he oversaw daily operations for the 193-room resort. Under his leadership, One Ocean Resort & Spa earned top awards from Travel & Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler and earned AAA four-diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Four Star status. Prior to his work at the resort, Ritten served as director of operations at University Club of the University of Missouri, as well as the Kansas City Airport Marriott. Holding a degree in both business administration and hotel and restaurant administration, Ritten served as the director of food and beverage for Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Baltimore Marriott Waterfront and Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor.
