ATLANTA, GA - November 11, 2013 - Nabil Ghanem has been named General Manager of the Holiday Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport-North, a 330-room full service hotel located adjacent to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA. Nabil was previously, since 2009, the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Atlanta-Perimeter.

“Nabil is an accomplished hotel professional,” said Robert Holsten, Executive Vice President Of Operations, First Call Hospitality, Inc., which manages the Holiday Inn. “His leadership at our Perimeter location has set a standard for our company in customer service, and he knows how to get the best out of staff members and deliver a great product and experience for our guests.”

Nabil started his career with Marriott Hotels Company as Executive Chef of 4 hotels in Missourri, Kansas and New Jersey. He was later promoted as Marriott's Director Of Food & Beverage, which relocated him to Atlanta to join the MMS division of Marriott. As part of the Davidson Hotel Company as Director of Operations, Nabil helped open the 500-room Miami Beach Resort, among other hotels. After leaving Davidson, he was the General Manager of a 700-room hotel consisting of 85,000 square feet of meeting space at the Kahler Grand Hotel - Rochester. In 2009, Nabil relocated back to Atlanta to work with First Call Hospitality, Inc. to give his family an opportunity for stability in one location.

In his three-decade career, Nabil has experience with take overs, acquisitions, and conversion renovations in several states in the country, proving his operational expertise. During his tenure with Marriott, Nabil is the only two-time recipient of the Operation Manager of the Year Award. While managing the Holiday Inn Atlanta-Perimeter, the property was ranked #1 overall out of 194 hotels on Tripadvisor.com.

Nabil received his Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing Emphasis University of Missouri, Bachelor of Science degree in Food Service from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Phoenix. He resides with his family in Atlanta.
