Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman Wins IHG 2013 Renovation Award
ATLANTA - November 5, 2013 - The Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman received the IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2013 Renovation Award for its successful completion of major modernization and renovation programs during the past year.
The hotel was recognized during the 2013 IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, Oct. 28-30, 2013 held at The Venetian® | The Palazzo® Resorts-Hotel-Casino. The hotel is one of 63 hotels to receive this award from a portfolio of more than 4,600 hotels.
"We are committed to enhancing our guest experience and we demonstrated this commitment with the renovation of the property earlier this year. It's an honor for us to accept this award,” said Brooke Meyer, director of sales and marketing, Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman.
Renovations included the hotel's exterior, lobby, public spaces, and guest rooms - and were completed in June, 2013. A trophy designating the Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman as a 2013 Renovation Award winner will be on permanent display at the hotel.
Nearly 6,000 franchise owners, operators and company officials attended the 2013 IHG Americas Investors & Leadership Conference.
