July 26, 2013 - Laura Reed has been named Sales Manager at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Southwest Florida. In her new position, she is responsible for sales efforts for the 125-acre beachfront resort for small groups, as well as the local (Southwest Florida) market. The 317-room resort, which has spent more than $45 million in impressive renovations and enhancements over the last five years, is Southwest Florida's only resort directly on the beach with an on-site championship golf course, a world-class spa, and an award-winning tennis center. A consistent recipient of many of the meetings industry's highest honors, the resort features 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and many beautiful outdoor venues.

Continually enhancing its already impressive offerings the resort completed its latest $5 million phase of renovations in January 2013. This phase included the opening of a new Gulf-view ballroom named The Everglades Room, the complete renovation of the remaining guest rooms in the resort's Florida Wing, and the complete renovation of the resort's Gulf-side meeting rooms and pre-function space.

This $5 million latest phase of improvements follows $40 million spent by the resort over the last five years. That multi-phase project included the renovation and remodeling of the other guest rooms and suites, the renovation and expansion of The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, and the addition (in 2010) of a beautiful new beachfront pool complex (with two new pools).
