First Hospitality Group Hires Corporate Task Force GM and Chicago Hotel GM
ROSEMONT, IL - July 9, 2013 — Rosemont, Illinois-based First Hospitality Group, Inc., (FHG) announced today the hiring of Nik Kern as the corporate task force general manager at FHG headquarters and Greg Prensol as the general manager of the Homewood Suites Downtown Chicago First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.

Kern brings expertise in staff management, onboarding, training, coaching and revenue management to his role with FHG. He has worked primarily in management positions with Intercontinental Hotel Group for the last 7 years, most recently as the director of front office and revenue management at the Crown Plaza St. Louis Airport in Missouri.
Prensol has been managing various hotel and lodging properties under the Marriott flag for more than 20 years. He most recently served as the general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Miami, Fla., where he made significant improvements to the hotel's sales, guest satisfaction and RevPar.
