Joseph Dantoni Announced as GM of Pier House Resort & Spa in Key West

With a proven track record of success leading upscale properties, Dantoni recently guided Melrose Georgetown Hotel through a major renovation and reconcepting process. Dantoni's general manager experience includes the 144-key Historic Inns of Annapolis, a historic boutique hotel in Annapolis, Md. In January 2011 Dantoni was named Remington Hotels' General Manager of the Year, where he increased revenues to the highest levels in property history and significantly improved guest service scores while leading Historic Inns of Annapolis. He previously served as general manager at The Lodge at Woodloch in Hawley, Penn., where he oversaw the vision, positioning, goals and marketing direction as the lodge opened its doors and became an instant success. Dantoni's hospitality management background also includes positions with the Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, Md. and Omni Hotels in Washington, D.C.
