Industry Veteran Mark Houser Joins AutoClerk as COO

AutoClerk®, Inc., a leading provider of property management systems for hoteliers, is pleased to announce a new hire for its Chief Of Operations. Mark Houser , most recently the CTO for Roomlinx, Inc., brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new position as AutoClerk's COO.

In his role as COO, Mark will work with AutoClerk's Sales Management and Product Support teams to build and strengthen client relations with an eye toward resolving customer technology concerns and increasing guest service levels.

In addition to his recent role at Roomlinx, Mark also spent 17 years at Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI), where he held various positions, including Chief Operating and Chief Information Officer. In 1997, Mark introduced the first widely installed self check-in/check-out kiosk, which won the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show Best Technology and Best Product of the Year awards.

His leadership, innovation and creativity contributed significantly to the growth of MSI into a premier provider of technology for the hospitality industry. He has worked with most major hotel brands, as well as many independent management companies.

Prior to his positions at MSI, Mark was with Honeywell Hospitality Systems and then International Property Control Systems (IPCS), where he spent six years developing the company's customer support center and implementing the sales support systems.

Mark owns Rainmaker Consulting, a provider of consulting services including IT system implementation and review, procurement, integration and custom application design and development. Mark is also a hotelier, with ownership in three hotels in Bloomington, IN, and is relocating with his four children from Scottsdale, AZ to Lafayette, CA.
