At Montana's Triple Creek Ranch Adventurous Women Discover Their Inner Cowgirls

. April 26, 2013

Darby, Montana - April 26, 2013 - Adventurous women will ride horseback through the Montana Rockies this spring and fall before unwinding in Western luxury at Triple Creek Ranch, a luxury resort high in the Bitterroot Mountain Range. At this Relais & Châteaux property, an all-inclusive retreat for adult guests offering rustic elegance in the Montana wilderness, the Women's Rocky Mountain Rendezvous and Klicks for Chicks are special weeks designed and led by Triple Creek Ranch owner Barbara Barrett. A trained United States astronaut, former US Ambassador to Finland, and a passionate horsewoman, Barrett wants other women to share and enjoy adventures in the Montana wilderness.

The Women's Rocky Mountain Rendezvous from May 1 to 6, 2013, allows women to discover their "inner Lewis & Clark" with such activities as horseback riding, fly casting and archery, as well as a cattle drive and team penning on the nearby CB Ranch. They can try their hands at panning for sapphires or take an afternoon for a bird and nature safari. In the evenings, it's Old World wine tasting with Sommelier Jeremy White and a gemstone and jewelry trunk show by famed German jeweler Sonja Kreis.

In the fall, Triple Creek Ranch women saddle up again at Klicks for Chicks, a 100 kilometers (62 miles) all-woman ride to benefit the non-profit Summit for Parkinson's, sister foundation to the Brian Grant Foundation. Cowgirls will venture into deep canyons, over mountain passes, past crystal clear lakes and through pristine meadows to discover the last frontier and the wilds of the Rocky Mountain West. Riders return each evening to the ranch where cocktails, gourmet food and luxury cabins await. A fireside awards ceremony at the home of Triple Creek Ranch's owner, Barbara Barrett, will follow the last day's ride.

Cabin rates for both Women's Rocky Mountain Rendezvous and Klicks for Chicks start at $950 per couple, per night, including luxurious accommodations, snacks, breakfast, lunch, gourmet dinners, house wines and house spirits, and all featured on-ranch activities. Adult traveling companions are welcome to the many exciting activities and luxurious accommodations Triple Creek Ranch has to offer while the women are discovering their inner cowgirls.
