LOS ANGELES - April 22, 2013 - Vagabond Inn Corporation announces the opening of its newest property, Vagabond Inn Executive in Salinas, Calif. The midscale, 70-room property is located off of Highway 101, one hour south of San Jose and 30-minutes east of Monterey's beachfront. The hotel has returned to Vagabond Inn after a period of separation and various other hotel flags.

The Vagabond Inn Salinas recently underwent a number of renovations and updates, positioning the property as an Executive hotel, complete with ample workspace in the guest rooms, as well as an expanded, complimentary hot breakfast, free high-speed WiFi and a relaxing swimming pool area.

Located at 131 Kern Street in the heart of the Salinas Valley and Monterey County, which is a largely agricultural region known as the "Salad Bowl of the World,” visitors can enjoy a blend of historic sights, nature scenery and entertaining attractions. The hotel is near the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the Salinas River, the largest river on the central coast, and the renowned National Steinbeck Center, which features the legacy of the great author, John Steinbeck.
