Palazzo Avino (Formerly Palazzo Sasso) Reopens with New Michelin Chef & Packages

Ravello, ITALY - March 28, 2013 - The Amalfi Coast's prized jewel - Palazzo Avino (formerly Palazzo Sasso) - reopens today with a name change, a new Michelin Chef and fantastic new “Stay-With-Us” options.

In its first season as Palazzo Avino (the founding family's name), the hotel is proud to introduce Executive Chef Michele Deleo - long-known on the Amalfi Coast for his extraordinary culinary talent - to oversee its highly renowned Rossellinis Restaurant. Chef Michele Deleo's culinary wonders fuse local seasonal ingredients with creative contemporary cooking techniques. Recognized as one of Campania's most important chefs, Chef Deleo brings a wealth of knowledge from distinctive restaurants around the globe - including Le Crillon des Gourmets, Le Cote d'Or du Saulieu and the Astrance in Paris; the Tantris in Munich; and Le Gavroche in London. Since returning to Italy, Chef Deleo has been awarded a one Michelin star at Restaurant II Buco in Sorrento and L'Accanto in Seiano.

In celebration of the reopening, Palazzo Avino is offering several new “Stay-With-Us” options: The “Stay 4 Nights and Only Pay 3” offer is valid for all room types for stays between March 27-April 30, and October 1-30, 2013.
