White Lodging Names New GMs for Six U.S. Hotels and One Chicago Restaurant

MERRILLVILLE, IN - February 19, 2013 - White Lodging is pleased to announce the following individuals have been named general managers within the last month across the company.

Jeremiah Drummond has been promoted to the general manager of the Residence Inn Oak Brook in Illinois. Previously, Jeremiah was the general manager at the Residence Inn in Carmel, Ind.. Drummond has over 14 years of hospitality related experience. He joined White Lodging in 2010 after 10 years of customer service, management, operations and training experience with Marriott International.

"I am very excited and feel very lucky to have this opportunity to better myself as a leader and promise to bring the same great results I had in my previous positions," said Drummond.

Nicola D'Entremont has been promoted to general manager of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin South. Previously, D'Entremont was a sales manager at the Residence Inn Austin Northwest. Prior to her new position, D'Entremont gained a variety of experience in the disciplines of sales, operations and front office. She was a part of the opening teams for both the Hilton Garden Inn Austin North and for the Courtyard Austin North.

Brian Long has been promoted to general manager of the Courtyard Houston Galleria in Texas. Previously, Long was the general manager of the HYATT House Austin. He has been in general management since 2001 where he started as the general manager of the DoubleTree Club Austin University Area. Long was also the general manager of the Canyon of The Eagles Resort and Conference Center in Burnet, Texas. "I look forward to this amazing opportunity and furthering my career with White Lodging," said Long.

Richard Hemsley has been named general manager of the SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City Airport. Hemsley joined White Lodging from Barbacoa Mexican Grille where he was the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his role as a restaurant COO from 2007-2013, he was a general manager at properties such as the Hilton Garden Inn St. George in Utah, the Hilton Garden Inn Boise Spectrum in Idaho and the AmeriTell Inns in Pocatello, Idaho.

Curtis Hansen has been named general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Grand Junction, Texas. Previously, he was the general manager of the SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City Airport. Hansen has over 10 years of hospitality experience. He joined White Lodging in 2010 from CottonTree Management where he served as the area general manager of the CottonTree Management North Utah Hotels.

"I am excited to take on this new challenge in Grand Junction and I am so grateful for the warm welcome that I have received from my staff and the community. Working together we will make the Courtyard Marriott Grand Junction the best hotel in western Colorado," said Hansen.

Adam Smith has been promoted to general manager of TGI Friday's at the Midway Hotel Center in Bedford Park, Ill. Smith's journey with White Lodging began in 2006 as assistant banquet manager at the Star Plaza. He took on various different roles at the property, at times heading up the Event Operations Department, as well as leading the TJ Maloney's team and other food and beverage outlets on the property. His high performance and strong results led him to a promotion in 2012 to general manager of Viand Bar & Kitchen at the Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile.
