Loews Hotels & Resorts Announces Richard Senechal, AIA, as EVP of Facilities

NEW YORK, NY - February 18, 2013 - Loews Hotels & Resorts today announced the promotion of Richard Senechal , AIA to Executive Vice President of Facilities, responsible for all aspects of capital planning, technical services, design, construction, and engineering at all Loews properties.

Senechal, who joined Loews Hotels & Resorts in 2005, has played an integral role as the company continues to expand its brand. Currently he is overseeing extensive renovations taking place within the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville and Loews Hollywood Hotel. Senechal is also responsible for the revitalization of the Loews Regency Hotel in New York, which is currently closed for construction and is expected to reopen in the fall. In addition to the capital investments being made at existing hotels, he is also overseeing the construction of the 400 room Loews Chicago Hotel, as well as the 1800 room Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando.

Prior to joining Loews, Senechal held similar positions at Wyndham International, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Hilton. A recognized expert in hotel design, planning and construction, he has been responsible for many signature hotel, resort and gaming projects, both domestically and internationally. Senechal is a graduate of Yale University, where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Architecture.
