Sonoran Spa Welcomes New Director William L. Oviatt

Massage therapy specialist promises 'journey of relaxation' for guests

. December 12, 2012

Tucson, AZ - December 12, 2012 - Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa announces the appointment of a new Spa Director, William L. Oviatt, who assumed his duties at the Sonoran Spa on November 19, 2012. Oviatt comes to the Sonoran Spa from Spa Nordstrom in Scottsdale, where he served as spa manager.

“There is nothing more rewarding than melting away the stress and worry of a client's life with an hour or more of spa services,” says Oviatt, whose specialty is massage therapy. “I am particularly drawn to deep-tissue and trigger-point modalities. I love working with the muscles and feeling them relax under my touch.” In addition to his experience at Spa Nordstrom, Oviatt served as spa director at The Village Health Club and Spa in Phoenix, clinic manager at Massage Envy in Phoenix and spa director/membership manager at CopperWynd Resort & Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

“Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa is a wonderful destination resort spa at the base of the Catalina Mountains,” says Oviatt, a native of Huatabampo, Sonora, Mexico, who grew up in Bullhead City, Arizona. “I have been drawn in with the history and beauty of the resort and am looking forward to working with the team to make sure our guests have the most tranquil, memorable services they have ever experienced.”

Frequent Sonoran Spa guests can expect a continuation of the phenomenal spa services and customer service they richly deserve, Oviatt says. “And if you've never been to the Sonoran Spa,” he adds, “just give us one hour of your time and I promise you that we will take you on a journey of relaxation that your mind and body will be thanking you for days to come.”

The Sonoran Spa is currently featuring four Chocolate & Champagne Seasonal Treatments, all of which combine the strong antioxidant elements of chocolate with powerful polyphenols from Hungarian Tokay and Champagne grapes. Representing the ultimate luxurious skin revitalizing experience, Chocolate & Champagne treatments give your face, body, hands and feet a natural, healthy glow.
