FairBridge Hotels International Attends its 3rd AAHOA Annual Convention

. May 23, 2012

SPOKANE, WA - May 23, 2012 - The hospitality firm headquartered in downtown Spokane, FairBridge Hotels International, attended its third consecutive Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) Annual Convention & Trade Show at the Omni Hotel and the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.

This was FairBridge's 3rd annual presence, and their exhibit was well-attended by the convention's nearly 3,500 attendees. Hoteliers were impressed by the energy and passion of this expanding firm whose membership model bucks many long-standing franchising traditions. FairBridge offers a proprietary cloud-based property-management system (PMS), intelligent revenue management, and even mobile apps at a flat per-room membership fee to three separate market segments under the FairBridge, Dumont, and Loyalty brands.

Brand sales representatives made over 100 qualified contacts, one of which led to an impromptu site visit and membership proposal in the Atlanta area. Director of Brand Operations, Frederick Schoener, expressed his excitement about putting roots down on the East Coast: “Adding properties in the Atlanta market will take our expanding footprint truly coast-to-coast, not to mention establishing a presence near the world's busiest airport [Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International].”

AAHOA's nearly 11,000 members own more than 20,000 hotels (40% of all U.S. hotels) valued at $128-billion. The convention, first held in 1989, is marked by esteemed guest speakers, world class Indian cuisine, and Bollywood performances. Key topics explored this year were the Travel Promotion Act, fair franchising, and tightened lending standards. This year's speakers included President George W. Bush and Howard Dean.

FairBridge Hotels International will be attending attending the AAHOA Northwest Regional Conference in Portland, OR, this August where an innovative addition to its PMS will be announced.
