Two Key Appointments Made by Hyatt Hotels in Toronto
Bonnie Strome Named General Manager at Hyatt Regency Toronto, and Eric Giberson Named Rooms Director at Park Hyatt Toronto
Toronto - May 3, 2012 - Bonnie Strome was recently appointed General Manager at The Hyatt Regency Toronto on King Street, replacing former General Manager Bruce Flyer who has assumed the General Manager's position at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. Strome began her career at the Park Hyatt Toronto where she served as the Director of Rooms for over seven plus years. She brings with her over 17 years of leadership experience in the industry, and her business acumen and dedication will continue to position the Hyatt Regency Toronto as the hotel of choice in the Entertainment District.
Eric Giberson who has assumed the Rooms Director position at Park Hyatt Toronto began his career with Hyatt Hotels as a Corporate Management Trainee at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois in 1999. He has since held various management positions in the Rooms Division between Hyatt Regency Calgary, Park Hyatt Toronto, Grand Cypress in Orlando and Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. Eric has recently returned north of the border with wife Terri and their daughter.
“It is seldom in one's career where you are privy to watching the career-chess game played so perfectly and have a vested interest in the careers of all involved”, General Manager Paul Verciglio says. “Bruce and I worked together when the Park Hyatt Toronto had first opened in Toronto, Eric was part of my operations team for 5 years and Bonnie has been my right hand for seven years. It is without hesitation that I speak confidently of their abilities to continue on a successful journey with Hyatt in their respective roles. Their reputations speak volumes as do their deliberate strides to always hit the mark in their daily execution. It is a great testament that anything is truly possible with Hyatt”.
