120-room Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Airport Opens

Milwaukee, WI - January 4, 2012 - The Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Airport, a Hospitality Specialists, Inc. managed property and owned by GMF hotel LLC, welcomed nearly 150 people at its grand opening celebration on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.

Guests nibbled on sample signature items from the Bistro Restaurant, such as the ever popular Bistro Burger, BBQ Chicken Flatbread pizzas and the famous tuna salad on mini croissants. While sipping on some of the Hotels featured wine and beer selections, guests were given personalized passports to “travel” around the hotel and get each “destination” stamped. Evening highlights included a ribbon cutting ceremony and speeches. Alderman Terry Witkowski said “this Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Airport property is in a prime location due to all the business development going on in the community. It's really great to have a strong reputable name such as Marriott, as a welcomed addition, to the airport market.” In keeping with the Marriott tradition, the hotel also collected winter coats, hats, and mittens to benefit the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
