December 13, 2011 - Australia's largest boutique hotel operator, 8Hotels, is proud to announce that The Denman Hotel , a 36-room boutique mountain retreat in Thredbo, is the latest addition to the group's hotel collection.

8Hotels CEO, Paul Fischmann said of the agreement which began on the 1st of December, that he was delighted to be working in partnership with The Denman Hotel.

“The Denman has always enjoyed strong occupancies throughout the ski season,” Fischmann said. “But we believe there is a great opportunity to drive bookings throughout the off-season, using a range of initiatives including special events such as Writers-in-Residence Camps.”

“Likewise, we believe the Denman Hotel, makes a welcome addition to the 8Hotels Collection, which now includes 17 properties, including other leisure offerings such as the Paris8 Apartment Series, Hepburn at Hepburn and Chandra Luxury Villas in Bali.”

Owner of The Denman Hotel, Ed Denny said he was looking forward to being able to step away from some of the day-to-day duties.

“We're excited to be partnering with 8Hotels. They have proven themselves to be a successful Hotel Operator and I'm looking forward to working with them and discovering the true potential of The Denman Hotel,” Denny said.
