The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans Makes Four Appointments

NEW ORLEANS, LA - December 8, 2011 - Donna Brown has accepted the position of director of operations and Mr. Matthew Helms has accepted the position of assistant rooms executive for The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.

Donna Brown is joining The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans from the JW Marriott in New Orleans, where she held the position of director of operations since 2009. A graduate of Loyola University, Brown has spent the majority of her career with Marriott International in New Orleans. She began her career at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel in 1988 and held positions at the Residence Inn, Courtyard, and Renaissance Hotels of New Orleans.

Matthew Helms is joining The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans from The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Nigel where held the title of director of housekeeping since July 2010. He joined Marriott International in August 2003 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Abe Chaney started with The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans in October 2006 as chief eEngineer and was since promoted to assistant director of engineering. Chaney has been with Marriott International since June 2002, and he has over 20 years of engineering experience.

Linda Le Hoffmann is joining the The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans from the Renaissance Pere Marquette and Renaissance Arts properties where she was the human resources manager with oversight of both hotels. Prior to the Renaissance properties she was the HR manager for the New Orleans Marriott.
