IHG's David Jerome Joins HotelExecutive.com as Contributing Editor to the Hotel Business Review

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 10, 2011 -- HotelExecutive.com, the leading online hotel industry business resource, is pleased to announce that David Michael Jerome of Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has joined the journal as a contributing editor to the publication's primary business journal, the Hotel Business Review.

As part of the editorial board, Mr. Jerome will be offering the publication's readers insight into Corporate Responsibility and how IHG is responding to this important business issue with innovation and collaboration.

Mr. Jerome is the Senior Vice President for Corporate Responsibility (CR) at IHG based in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Jerome attends IHG's CR Board Committee which has responsibility for overseeing strategic priorities in CR and determining the overall shape of IHG's CR strategy. The Committee reports to the Board which reflects the high priority IHG places on CR.

Mr. Jerome is widely recognized for his expertise in the area of sustainability and in 2008, was a Dean's Distinguished Lecturer at Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. He is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council's Hospitality Technical Advisory Group. In addition to this, he also leads IHG's CR partnership with Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
