Industry Veteran Named GM of Dolce Valley Forge Hotel

ROCKLEIGH, NJ. - October 18, 2011 - Dolce Hotels and Resorts, operator of 27 upscale hotels, resorts and conference hotels in North America and Europe, has named Manish Bhatia, a 22-year hospitality industry veteran, general manager of the 327-room Dolce Valley Forge hotel in King of Prussia, Pa.

Bhatia formerly was general manager of the 171-room, five-star Hilton Mumbai International Airport hotel in India, where he oversaw a staff of 438. Prior to that, he was general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Bedford Glen hotel in Bedford, Mass., a 281-room hotel managed by Dolce Hotels and Resorts, which he joined as director of operations.

Earlier in his career, Bhatia was general manager of the four-star Hotel Providence in Rhode Island, director of food & beverage at The Westin Providence, food & beverage director at the Hilton Boston/Dedham in Massachusetts and assistant food & beverage director at the former Al Jazira Beach Resort & Hotel in the United Arab Emirates.

He began his career in 1989 at the former Taj Mahal Intercontinental hotel in Mumbai and subsequently worked as a restaurant consultant in Sydney, Australia, and for Royal Caribbean International, based in Miami. He is a 1989 graduate of the Mumbai College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, where he received a bachelor's degree in hospitality.

The Dolce Valley Forge, at 301 West DeKalb Pike, offers 22 conference rooms encompassing 24,000 square feet of meeting space including the area's largest ballroom. Hotel facilities include an outdoor pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, onsite audiovisual equipment and technicians and a full-service, staffed business center.

Guest room choices include 60 executive and luxury suites. All rooms feature complimentary wired and wireless Internet service, oversized desks, two-line phones with voice mail, high-definition televisions with in-room movies, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards and hairdryers.
