HFTP Introduces EU to Hospitality Technology Education via EHTEC
SEPTEMBER 7, 21006. Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals' (HFTP) will offer European hospitality professionals a first-rate educational program through its inaugural European Hospitality Technology Education Conference (EHTEC), February 19-20 at the Hilton Amsterdam in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The two-day conference is intended to be an intimate gathering of the EU's top hospitality professionals, including delegates representing hotel companies, clubs, resort properties, casinos and other hospitality-related businesses. Attendees will discuss the most pressing challenges facing hospitality technology in Europe.
"HFTP has increased its European presence over the past year, starting with the establishment of its European office," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, HFTP executive vice president and CEO. "Producing a European-based conference illustrates HFTP's commitment to step outside of its North American home base and provide European hospitality professionals the full-range of HFTP benefits, including face-to-face networking and education."
HFTP, established in 1952, is also the producer of the annual Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC), the world's oldest hospitality technology show. Although EHTEC (powered by HFTP-HITEC) is intended to be an intimate meeting focusing on education and networking, it will feature a very limited number of sponsorships that includes stands. An advisory council of European and Middle Eastern hospitality technology professionals, consultants and educators will help design the agenda.
