New Director of Operations at Fairmont Chateau Whistler

June 9, 2010 - Roger Soane, General Manager, The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is pleased to announce the appointment of Sunny Joseph as Director of Operations, effective June 1, 2010.

Mr. Joseph joins us from The Fairmont Dubai where as Director of Food & Beverage, he was responsible for the hotel's entire food and beverage operation, consisting of the banqueting department and ten restaurants and lounges. Since March 2003, Mr. Joseph has held progressive positions at The Fairmont Dubai beginning as Outlet Manager and progressing to Banquet Manager then Assistant Food & Beverage Director for the award-winning Spectrum on One. In 2006, Mr. Joseph assumed the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Director. Prior to joining the Fairmont Dubai, Mr. Joseph held various positions in food and beverage operations in India, the United Arab Emirates and Australia.

Mr. Joseph is a graduate of the Mahatma Gandhi University in India and is accredited from the United Kingdom Bartending Guild, AHMA, and the International Institute Meridien in France. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ballarat, Melbourne in Australia.
