Marriott to Manage and Brand Two in China
DECEMBER 9, 2006. Marriott International will open its third Renaissance-branded hotel in Shanghai in mid-2007, under a management agreement reached with Summit Property Development. The 680-room Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel will occupy the top 35 floors of a distinctive 60-story tower.
Marriott will open its 11th China (PRC) hotel in Beijing in 2008, under a management agreement with Beijing Huhua Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. When opened, the 19-storey, 615-rooms hotel will be called the Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall.
