Terri Pearson Promoted to Marketing Manager at Onity's North American Division
ATLANTA, GA, November 17, 2006. Onity, the leading global provider of electronic control and security solutions for lodging applications, has announced the promotion of Terri Pearson to Marketing Manager, North America. In her new role, Terri will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies for Onity's North American division, including the vertical markets of hospitality and commercial, which includes education, military/government, healthcare and corporate facilities. Onity's extensive product offering to these industries comprises a comprehensive line of electronic locking and security solutions, as well as electronic safes and Senercomm(R) energy management systems.
Terri joined Onity in 2001 as Education Market Specialist and, prior to her recent promotion, also served as Commercial Business Developer for the company's North American market. In addition to her expanded marketing responsibilities, she will continue to lead Onity's Commercial and Education market initiatives.
Before joining the Onity team, Terri's successful career in higher education included five years with California State Polytechnic University, where she held the position of Associate Director of Business Services in the Housing Department, overseeing Marketing, IT, Conference Services, and Operations. She holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University, as well as a BA in Liberal Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills. Terri is affiliated with an array of national education associations, and has garnered a variety of academic and sales awards, including Onity's Eagle Performance Award for the education sales team in 2004 and the Dale Carnegie Sales Talk Championship.
