Compass Point Joins Island Outpost

NOVEMBER 3, 2006. Nassau's Compass Point has joined the Island Outpost collection of Caribbean properties and is set to reopen on December 1st following an extensive renovation.

18 boutique-style waterfront huts are comprised of two-story cottages and single cabanas painted purple, orange, yellow and fuchsia. The property will be showcasing its redesigned restaurant with expanded seating areas, as well as two new bars, the exterior Ocean Bar and the interior Alcove Bar.

Founded by Island Records' Chris Blackwell, the Island Outpost portfolio includes Goldeneye, Strawberry Hill, Jake's and The Caves in Jamaica, Pink Sands in the Bahamas and a selection of villas.
