GM Announced for of New Thompson LES
NEW YORK, NY, September 9, 2008. Thompson Hotels is proud to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Mao as General Manager of Thompson LES, the newest addition to Thompson's portfolio of elite boutique hotels.
Located at the corner of Allen and Houston streets in Manhattan's burgeoning Lower East Side neighborhood, Thompson LES is the fourth New York property in Thompson's collection of luxury hotels. Conceptually designed by Ed Rawlings Architects and Dodd Mitchell Design, with interiors by Jim Walrod of Murphy & Dine, the hotel is inspired by the provocative undercurrent of its neighborhood's surroundings. The 18-story property embodies the ultimate in clean, industrial New York with timeless modern style.
Elizabeth Mao has been a member of the Thompson team since 2001. She has served in numerous capacities at the famed Hollywood Roosevelt, the new Thompson Beverly Hills and most recently as general manager of the chic SoHo staple, 60 Thompson.
