Interval Promotes Ivonne Garcia to AVP Operations Research

SEPTEMBER 8, 2008. Interval International, a leading provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Ivonne Garcia to assistant vice president of operations research. In this role, she oversees operations research in the United States and United Kingdom, and also now will be responsible for the resource planning management department. In addition to providing information, analysis, forecasts and budgets, this new combined area focuses on identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies within Interval's Member-Services Center operations.

"It gives me great pleasure to promote Ivonne, who is a valued member of the operations team and has made many significant contributions to our organization," said Raul Estrada, vice president of U.S. member services. "Her knowledge and experience will serve her well and she will continue to be an important asset to the company in her expanded role."

Garcia joined Interval in 1988 as a research analyst. Since then, she has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as director of operations research.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Miami.
